About Us
THE ORGANIZATION
TomasinoWeb (TomWeb!) is the official online-based student publication of the University of Santo Tomas. It is also a recognized university-wide organization which focuses in the fields of writing, photography, digital arts and website development.
It was founded in 2007 by student volunteers mainly from the Faculty of Arts and Letters and Faculty of Engineering under the guidance of the Santo Tomas e-service Providers (STePS). It was the former STePS Director, Rev. Fr. Melchor Saria, who conceptualized the TomasinoWeb. In 2008, TomWeb has been recognized as a university-wide organization and online student publication of UST.
MISSION
TomWeb commits itself to provide relevant and timely information to the Thomasian community through its official website, and to hone the skills of its members through seminars, workshops and event coverage.
VISION
TomWeb envisions itself to become the University’s immediate source of online-based information and to produce Thomasian professionals and leaders who are not only versatile in the fields of web development, online journalism, photography, and digital arts but are also well grounded in the values instilled on them during their stay in the organization.

[one_third last=”no”][slideshow id=6][/one_third]Four departments. Four committees. Four years. For UST’s 400th year.
QuadCore, the batch name of the fourth batch of TomasinoWeb core group, is composed of the executive board, department heads, and the senior members. Bonded by passion that has been proven by the years of hardship and laughter shared while in the organization, Batch QuadCore considers each member a family that will be cherished not just within their years of stay in the University but also in the years to come as professionals of their respective crafts.
This batch believes that TomasinoWeb’s aim as an organization is not recruiting members who are excellent in their craft, but unraveling that excellence within a member who has the passion for the craft.
