As a way of showing the Thomasian spirit on fighting for change through the 2010 elections, hundreds of Thomasian Boto Patrollers rock and rolled at the Boto Mo Ipatrol Mo Himig ng Pagbabago “eyeball concert” last February 19 at the UST field.

The concert started with various artists singing the theme song of the citizen- journalism campaign, “Ako ang Simula”  with Boto Patrollers waving their cellphones to the beat, making the dimly lit venue sparkling with tiny specks of light from the small liquid crystal displays. ABS-CBN news anchor Ted Failon, armed with his witty punch lines, served as the main emcee of the event. Also, several news anchors such as Julius Babao, Karen Davila, Henry Omaga- Diaz made appearances on the concert. Musical performers who led the rakrakan for change and awareness of the youth of their role on the upcoming elections included Parokya ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Sandwich, Imago, Rocksteddy, Peryodiko, Barbie Almalbis, Moonstar8, and Julianne. Election- related informative videos, which discusses important points like guidelines in choosing a candidate and how the automated election system works,  were shown every after a performance. Introduced in the event was the new BMPM website where patrollers could share their thoughts and reports related to the coming elections  by simply blogging about it in the website, hence making the task easier. Failon led the oath- taking of the Patrollers which highlights their task of working together to a clean 2010 elections.

The said event drew 20,000 new boto patrollers, in addition to 62, 000 existing members.
