What qualifies you to be the first Thomasian Youth Ambassador?
“My ability to be the model to the young generation of Filipinos, practicing the Thomasian core values in my everyday life and constantly pursuing excellence as a global citizen and individual of this fine country. The passion in me for the progression by the youth.”
How do you value education?
“Education is not merely the installment of knowledge, but the inspiration to the constant pursuit to enlightenment in one’s lifetime. True education is constantly present in the life of a man. In the end, what truly matters is how one appreciates and nourishes his personal growth with what the world has to offer him, and that is what must be known by all, that living is learning.”
How can you share the light of education to the indigenous people?
“Sharing is to connect with others, requiring only the simplest means of communication between two human beings, talking. Despite the lack of personal communication in the modern world, a short speech in a person’s mother tongue or a strong bond of friendship can provide impact consequential to a domino effect, giving ideas and information that would cascade to all generations within a community. Inspiring and also believing in our fellow natives to learn and be educated can do wonders and could yield to unimaginable results.”
Why should the Thomasian community vote for you?
“I believe that I embody not only the ideals of my faculty, but also of our university as well. That I think would match the quality of what a Thomasian youth ambassador is.”
