What qualifies you to be the first Thomasian Youth Ambassadress?

“Everyone here is qualified to be the first Thomasian Youth Ambassador or Ambassadress, some might have greater edges than others and I believe that mine is courage, I consider myself as qualified because I have the courage to undertake sacrifices for others and I’m not afraid to hold on to any responsibilities offered/given to me, but most of all, I also have the heart to give to others, the heart to do things for others and the heart to care and love for the people in need and to everyone around us, by having those qualities, I sincerely believe that I and anyone is more than qualified to be the first Thomasian Youth Ambassador and Ambassadress.”

How do you value education?

“I value numerous things in life, but education is one of the utmost valued matter for me, knowing that no matter what they take away from you, your knowledge and experience not only in school but the education you get from everyday life will never be taken away from you, and that is heavier that gold itself. I am a student of life and the world is my classroom, I learn every day, and those lessons are the ones that has taken me this far. I value it the most because I know that you can lose money, people and material matters but education will always be with you.”

How can you share the light of education to the indigenous people?

“Experience is the best teacher, if I were to share the light of education, I would make them experience the subjects rather than just writing and explaining it, I would provide more hands on activities, this way, the people will learn and absorb all the information given in a way that they can experience it. This way, they would also aspire to share the light to others and show them how important education is. Not by words, visuals and in a four sided classroom, but with interactions and experiences. ”

Why should the Thomasian community vote for you?

“I am a person of motivation, Aspirations and dreams. I have set my heart on to giving a hand to the benevolent people and to the people and communities around me. I know that whatever task or responsibility given to me, I have the courage and my faith to help me overcome and accomplish them. Being a role model should not only value a pretty face, but also a heart and a will to help and care for others.”
